NEBULA – Fresher's Party 2026

​At Nebula 2026, Dr. K. M. Sumathi (Principal) delivered an inspiring address centered on Alvin Toffler’s Time Theory and River Theory for our students. 

 

​A Lesson in Timing:

 

Two professors were scheduled to assume their positions on Saturday:

 

The Zoology Professor acted immediately and joined on Saturday. That single decision established seniority, eventually paving the way to the Principal’s post.

 

The Botany Professor, after procrastinating and delaying, finally joined on Monday and became the Head of the Department of Botany.

Time Theory: Procrastination carries a hidden cost. Immediate action creates leverage, while delay hands your advantage to someone else.

 

River Theory: Opportunities flow like water—you cannot step into the same river twice. The window available on Saturday was gone by Monday.
